The 1st US-China Symposium on Beauty Market Trends—hosted by the NYSCC and the Chinese American Cosmetic Professional Association (CACPA)—will be held December 11 in New York City. This special half-day program offers a new way to kick off the national SCC’s Annual Meeting that begins later that day. The event, which will be held at Convene (75 Rockefeller Plaza) will focus on navigating beauty/personal care sourcing and product development in China. Keynote presentations include: “Billion Dollars of Beauty Market in China,” by Chaoyang Cai, founding partner of Chaileedo, China; and “Beauty Technology Trends and Development” by Angelike Galdi, Global VP, head of technology incubator cosmetic formulation, L’Oréal, USA.
